Best method to set a perfect wheelbase?

Mudd, you could try putting the front end up on stands a running the engine. If the steering creaps over you might have some bad valving going on in the steering box.
Just an idea...

Just did this a few minutes ago and it does not turn. It just stays put.

I went out and checked everything while the gf turned the wheel back and forth. I noticed this stuff:

The steering box hoses move around when turning back and forth quickly. I'm sure this is the fluid going back and forth

When turning fully to the left or right, it squeaks bad and power steering pump runs really hard. Do you think there is air in the PS pump or steering box causing it to squeak like it does when turning hard left or right at a standstill?

There is no movement in the box at all.

There is a noticeable clunk when the pitman arm changes direction and it seems to be coming from the pitman arm tie rod joint. There's no left/right movement in the joint but it pops in and out just a fraction of an inch during the direction change.

I have about 1/4" movement in both upper and lower trackbar bushings but the bolts are tight. The bushings seem to be "soft" and allowing this play. I don't think this contributes to the pull though.

1/4" is a lot of play. Your saying 1/4" upper and 1/4" lower, that's 1/2"?
I have zero play in my track bar just as a point of reference.
Sounds like a track bar rebuild is in your future.

Is you steering wheel centered? I had a "pseudo" pull a while back.
Seemed like I was always having to correct until I adjusted the
drag link an re-centered the steering wheel.

Yeah 1/4" play in both bushings. I emailed Andy and he's going to send me 95D bushings which are a bit more stiffer. The trackbar isn't even 6 months old yet, still practically new. It just has bushings that are too soft i guess.

Steering wheel is centered. I don't think that's the problem cuz when I let go of it, it starts going left immediately.

I took it on the freeway yesterday and noticed the pull was less than before. The only changes I made were swapping tires to the other side and loosening the rear passenger brake adjuster. Starting to seem like it's a radial pull, but a heavy one considering how hard it was pulling left before.
