Best Cup Holder?--- What's your opinion.....

The wedgie by TSI, slips between the seats or seat and console.

Some people have complained about holders taking up too much room...well I have one of these in a Miata and can hold two 44 ouncers AND a passenger. Even though most times the drinks are more important than the passenger.

Best cupholder....5'6" blonde, 112 lbs. 36-24-36 & young.

The best IMO is the 97+ Console, but its alot of work for a drink.

I thought all that did was heat, since heat comes out of the lower vents.....A/C blows from there too?
When you put it on bi-level it does. JIM.

I bought .99 cent cup holders that hook onto your door. I drilled a hole in the back and removed the shifter cover (I have an '86 manual but auto's should be the same). I used zip ties to hold onto the metal brackets under the shifter cover and through the hole in the cup holder. Now they hang down the side and hold just about anything!

That is Cool.... The new BMW's have drink cooling/heating system like that.. I think they ripped you off...
Those bastiges!!! :O I should revise it and add some lighted cupholders like the cheezy Compass...

I'll snap a shot of the $0.99 cupholder positioning tomorrow. As long as the front seat stays back, it fits fine.

My cherokee doesn't have any center console (91 basic), so I bought a double cup holder with a flat bottom from target and I just sit it under the brake handle. When I'm driving the handle rests in the center and keeps the cup holder down, never had a problem till my wife stole it for her car!

I picked up this at Kragen for like 6 bucks. Its called the octopus. Works really good. It stays put whenever im 'roading. Its only dumped a drink once but that was with a large drink full from taco-bell and I was making a u-turn in the middle of a highway. But other than that its been get.

I have a 90 Pioneer and found a plastic thing at Pepboys that holds 2 cups and has a little spot in between for gum (or something that size). The base has screw holes and a flat plastic piece to shove between the seat and the center console. If I have some time I'll charge the battery in my camera and shoot a pic for you. I think it was like $5. Only issue I have is that the cup holes are cut a little big for the cups that usually go in there. For 5 bucks I'm satisfied. Pepboys had a few different kinds when I went, including that jesusjeep19 posted a pic of. Most seemed inexpensive.

True, but no heat comes w/ bilevel.......unless you have the newer Jeep without the heat valve.......or remove it an plumb directly to the heater core.

Both of mine have heat on bilevel. Both still have the heat valve. JIM.

Hm, maybe I'm just not looking at the heat valve. I know it closes when on OFF vacuum is applied and it sucks the valve)

Does your valve stay opened when you turn VENT on?

I'll try bilevel tomorrow. It would be fantastic to have heat both down and up! Can you believe it, I've never ran that since I got it September of 2005? lol.........I'm stoked!

I have no idea. Never looked, because I have heat where I want it. JIM.
