Best air compressor/CFM rating?

Were looking at getting an air compressor pretty soon so we need some suggestions on whats best.

What CFM rating should we look for? Were looking at spending somewhere around $800 and really looking for something thats not gonna turn on every 5 secs to refill and we need to run everything from paint sprayers, and die grinders, to impacts and air drills. So let me know what you recomend and what about the Harbor Freight stuff? any good? We'd like it to last for a good while to. Thanks guys.

I can just say stay away from the Farm-Hand brand at Tractor supply, made by Ingersol Rand but have some major problems, we had tons of them returned.

I would spend a few more dollars and buy this. Can't beat the value of these units. I am very inpressed with mine.
