Bent my C4x4 Tow hooks

So I got to play tow truck last night. I ended up pulling or helping pull out 5 trucks. Then I got stuck :doh: The pull that ended up getting me out bent my C4x4 tow hooks. It bent it up and away. I'll have to check it out later when I get back outside to see if there is any other damage. Should I be able to bend those brackets back into shape? I've got a 10ton hydraulic press, but I don't know if that will have the gumption to bend the steel those brackets are made of.

Damn a winch would have come in handy.

You can bend'em back, but they will be drastically weaker after being bent. I bent one of their brackets so bad it started to tear.

Don't have any pics yet. Gonna have to wait for all the snow to melt. I did notice this morning that the damage is more than just the tow hook. The bumper on that side is pulled out and up. It looks like the bumper bracket is all bent up. I won't know the extent of the damage until I can start tearing it apart.

I got stuck in the Oklahoma snow too! I bent my Custom 4x4 headlight guard on a tree getting pulled out. I was forced off the road into a ditch my some @$$ in a dualie pickup driving too fast and cossing center.

wow! man i've never seen that happen...have you run out by his shop and see if he will warranty or replace for a reduced price? He's a really nice guy that seems to want to help out...

...and the winch was great to have around used it really for the first time in the storm even pulled out a lifted cherokee (he was in the middle of the road) that isnt supposed to happen
