is that the same truck as the yellow one on the hesco website under readers rides
You sure? I was thinking it may be, but wasn't sure so I didn't say anything...

that was cool thanks for posting.
But after all that it only runs 14.4? Looks like you would spend as much or more as dropping in a chevy LSx for more power and probably less weight.
yea, but they did not have any sort of LSX platform 20 years ago...
today it applies though.

I didn't remember that Hesco had a truck like that until now.. comparing the two it has to be Hesco's yellow truck.
why did they paint a perfectly good truck yellow? ugh!!!

oh I know, and it IS cool. And it'd be retarded for Jeep to promote performance by saying "drop in a chevy!"
Well... the sc's not intercooled, and the truck probably isn't regeared (I bet it doesn't have a LSD either). Also, I'm sure it would run a heckovallot quicker if it had a modern piggy-back system. There's lots of room to play-around/improve with that set-up.
comes to mind!
Because it belongs to Hesco, they made it, and they can paint it yellow if they like..
They could also paint it pink with an airbrushed portrait of Def Leopard on the hood.
My point is yellow is a poor color choice for something this awesome (with so much history behind it).
I would stick with a dark gray metallic, a satin black, or anything that reminds us less of French's Mustard,
and more of imminent ass-kickery.
