I thought I would post some pix up to give hope to anyone new to XJs. There have been some awesome restoration/builds. Here are a few pix of mine.
It's a 1985, at least that is what it says on the title. So many parts have been swapped, it would be hard to say truthfully what year. When I got it, it was on its way to the dump. It had a hole in the block and was barely able to be towed.
4.7L stroker on 35's, D44 front w/quickloc w/wristed radius arm suspension, D44 rear w/Detroit. Tera2low. All the bumpers, rails, and skids, I did myself along with the body work and paint. Only a couple of people have laid as much as a screwdriver on the rig other than myself. I did this buildup because even with frame plating, I wheeled it so hard that I taco'd the frame.
