Beautiful day to go doorless

i took my doors off last weekend.. seems like summer already in corpus.. I've been trying to get around to taking off my back doors, but not sure if it's as easy as the fronts were..

besides, can't drive it now that I have no shift cable. noone has one and no parts stores.. arg...

one day it'll be totally doorless and running again

Those of yall that run doorless...with the unibody on the XJ is there any risk off twisting the body and not being able to put the doors back on? When I was stationed in NC I used to ride up in Uwharrie quite a bit and seen some people riding doorless but they had steel tube "doors" (more like just a bar) to help the structure out. I'd love to be able take my doors off every once in a while but I worry about twisting the body up. Am I worrying over nothing....do these tube doors actually do anything...are they worth the money?

Good point. :doh:

Hey, stxcherokee, send a PM to ultimatejeep http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=983361 he's down in your area and has lots of parts for sale. Maybe he can help ya out.

Good luck!

====================

I'd go doorless, but my car would look rather silly that way and it would totally destroy the aerodynamics!
