Beach camping ideas?

lookin for some advice on good beach camping within 2 hours of Sacramento... any ideas people?

bodega dunes
are both west of petaluma

new brighton state park beach
is by santa cruz , about 2.5 hrs from sacto

x2 on Dillon. We do that all the time. Make sure you bring your RC car so you can drive it up and down the dunes.

Yeah, Sean. Tomales Bay is good for fishing from shore or boat. There's a little marina there that you can buy tackle and bait. Great place to launch a boat if you have one. Also good to run your dogs up and down the beach. We normally do Dillon in Feb or Sep and the weather is always perfect.

yeah Dillons looks a little in the open, might get hot fast...im going to check out Tomales..i remember this spot i found online that starts with a R i think..anyway..there are trees at the camp spots..reyes? maybe...i will see

so i guess point reyes and tomales are right next to eachother...does not look like much for trees there either...but it looks pretty cool there, and fishy!

Dillon beach resort is at the mouth of Tomales Bay. Camp with the cows and walk over to the Bay for fishing.
