MORE's u-bolts are too short for my grande leaf packs...

but long enough for mock-up purposes...

What's the reccomended torque setting for them anyway?

white knuckle, red face or inguinal hernia?

In a quarry, white knuckle worked. In practice...red face.

Brett...IIRC the WMS to WMS was about 64-65"...

Depends on the diamater of the u-bolt.
For your's, I would say 100lb/ft and retorque them after a couple of weeks.

Depends on the diamater of the u-bolt.
For your's, I would say 100lb/ft and retorque them after a couple of weeks.

IIRC ... a Chiltons Manual recommended 65-70 ft/lbs for stock u-bolts which are 1/2" dia. I used 9/16" dia. u-bolts and torqued them to 80-85 ft/lbs.
