Looks good can not wait to see it finished!?? .....what more than a year of work on it and only one trail run to shakedown?

Now that I have the cage in and done for the most part. I do need some gussets. I will be venting my fuel cell out the roof. I will probably do that when I finish the rack for the back.

I just picked up 80 feet of 1.5" .120 wall HREW to do some add ons to my cage and armor. So here is what I am planning...

Halo
Tube fenders

That should protect it enough I would think. Big thanks to Frank Z for helping me out and putting a couple of bends in my tube for me.

I will have to see. At this point I am not sure. I need to fix a few thing on my rig first. Plus my wife is going to pop any day now. So if I go I can't break it, cause if she goes into labor I need to haul a$$ to the hospital in Lakewood.

I am going to be adding Ballistic Fab tubing clamps to the front of the halo so it can be unbolted for windshield replacement.

How much gap do you have between the windshield and the tube? It does look close, but you may be able to get away with pulling it out a bit at the bottom and scooting it out from under the tube..... :dunno:

Maybe you could simply bend the tube right in the middle? Put a strap around it to a tree and back up gently? Shouldn't need much.

That is a no go. I am within a half of an inch to my windshield and third eights to my gutter. It is really tight. But one of these on each end solves the issue easy. http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/ID-Tube-Clamp_p_1467.html

Triangulate this :moon: I will be adding a couple more tubes up top but it is pretty strong the way it is.
