Badlands trip?

so where is everyone staying at?

I'm gonna guess (because I'm not gonna read a full 14 pages), that the date is indeed april 24-26th. I'll be there before noon on friday the 26th to set up camp and get a few hours of test-run in before we sing around the campfire LMAO.

well...there are a few of us that are getting there the evening of the 23rd (thurs), so we can get up early and get a jump start on friday the 24th.

so we may have to set a CB channel before we get there so you can find us when you get there on friday.

Wheeling 24th-25th of April (fri and Sat) at the Badlands offroad park (http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/).
-You can buy a one day pass for $20, or two day pass for $30, plus a $5 a day passenger fee.
-it IS required that you have an orange flag on your truck. If you dont already have one, they do sell them at the park, ($14 for a 1/4" pole w/flag)
-it is not required that your rig meet the official NAXJA minimum requirements, however it is strongly recommended. Having the minimum equipment requirements wont hurt you, it can only help you.

We will be camping at Summer's Campground (http://www.summerscampground.com/). There will be a good number of us arriving on Thursday evening to get an early start on friday.
-primitive camping is $16 a day, this includes two adults, and two children. additional adults will cost $8 per person.
-water and electric (1 unit per site) is $25 per day, same $8 per additional adult applies.

I am assuming that people will be staying saturday night at the campground as well for a bonfire of some sorts. There is alcohol allowed, as long as it is consumed in moderation, and stays AT YOUR CAMPSITE! They do not allow it at the pool, or in the Rec Center.

-We will be getting an early start at the park in the morning. We will meet in the parking lot inside the gate at 9:30am to get some trail groups organized, (park opens at 9:00am).

I think thats it....! If there's anything in here I need to change, or anything you want to do differently, let me know and I'll edit the first post as well.

Here's the info.......can a mod edit the first post and just put this in it?

Yeah that. So i take it you are staying black and not helping out your native chapter? Slacker!

Well...I figured I'd wait until after March Membership drive so no one will get credit for my membership. Cause both chapters are awesome!

Nice Cover!

Might want to try the REPORT POST icon or PM HaleYes or REVDEN. THey may not look at every thread. Also when you Report post then it sends them a Email and then they will usually act on it quicker!

10-4.

Would anyone be able to reserve me a campsite at Summer's? cause I can head out at 1am here when my brother gets home from work, get there within about 4 hours (especially with the lack of traffic), set up camp, let him crash til 9 or so, and get out on the trail right away with you guys.

I had been planning on sleeping at the badlands campground, but I'll gladly go where the fun will be..

here's my comanche:

I may be out as well. The plant is shutting down the 13-17th so i won't get a check on the 24th!:smsoap:I will have to file unemployment for one week and wait for the check to come in!

With all the pages - have we ever discussed an official meeting time, and location? I know some are heading down Thursday, others Friday (myself included), and some have mentioned just coming for the day Saturday. I'm persuading the wife to get up early so I can get the gate just by opening on Friday. Do we want to meet somewhere in the lower lot - say by 930ish on Friday? I"m towin my heep down, but only need a few minutes to unstrap, swap doors, and get ready.
