baby threw a rod - timetopart

i have an 87 xj pioneer 2wd that recently threw a rod the junkyard was only ganna give $100 to i figured i could make more on parts. im still in school and i have to pay formy new car so i cant really afford to give anything away (except the little stuff) the car only has 160k miles and everything but the engine works really good. its got an aw4 tranny and it was a 4.0 I6 4 door wiht tan interior so if anyone wants anything just let me know. and if i dont reply quickly my email is [email protected] .

ps. its sitting inmy driveway and the homeowners association will get on my ass ifythey know its not a daily driver so if you need anything off the exterior that would be a dead giveaway to the taste police then itmight take a while b4 i can get it to you.

if your refering to the A/C fan located on the drivers side then yes it does.

I nearly peed my pants when I saw you were in Katy, but sucks that yours was 2wd b/c I would have wanted that hpd30 bad! Where do you go to HS? I went to Taylor a few years ago=) What vehicle are you looking for now?

i got to katy high and i just baught a 96 cherokee 4x4 and its beautiful and i got a really good deal on it too. i was heartbroke when i threw the rod but now i got somethin 10x better so its all ok. now i just gotta pay it off.

congrats on the new XJ! you might have seen my lifted ZJ around it's the only one LOL or my brothers tricked XJ both black. let me know if you need soem help tearing apart the old XJ I might be able to help with that

ya sure just pm me with some info and i'll give ya a call. i think iveseen urzj to but i cant remember :/ but i have seen the black xj cruisin around... i actually think you were out behing cinamark when i had to pull my old xj out of the mud. was that you? or someone else? it was an old redxj wiht the fender flares missing. got it buried under about 4' of mud.

I don't think it was me....I think I would remember that and I would have stopped to help if I saw a XJ burried 4' deep! YIKES! I bet that was a real PITA to get out! I got stuck back there but closer to that one road that hits the feeder, at like 1am and forgot my cell phone so I had to walk to cinemark to use the pay phone for help to get unstuck. I finally got it out at around 4am after digging for a while. sucked bigtime!

o ya sounds like it! i just got pulled out by a chevy 3500 4x4 super duty, came out wiht ease. i got stuck somewhere pretty close to the feeder too. maybe it was even the same hole? but ya i was thinkin about starting up a jeep club in katy maybe you'd like to help me w/ it? heres my email just hit me up some time and maybe we can even go wheelin or somethin.

i recently replaced the brake booster and master cylinder, i only drove it about 300miles before it threw the rod. so it is up for sale for $60 obo. origionally cost $90. if your interested just pm me and let me know
i am also removing all the interior trim, such as the dash, door pannels, etc. and selling it as a kit. if you are interested. its tan interior.
