Does anyone have a contact number for him? He's building a rack for me (going into my 10th week of waiting), but communication has ceased and I'd like to see what's going on.
A phone number would be great. I've sent 3 emails this week with no response. The last contact I had with him was about meeting the weekend of April 27. Nothing since.
I did manage to find a phone number for B. Lee. He has avoided all my calls. So, its obvious that he has ripped me off of my "deposit" in the amount of $140.00.
I placed my order the first part of March (the 3rd, I believe). I was quoted by B. Lee that there was a 4-5 week lead time due to him being a small operation and all that. No biggie. I PayPaled him a deposit of $140.00 to start my rack.
It is now MAY 10 (yes, almost TEN weeks after ordering...5 weeks over what I was told it would be) and I have not received my product. Nor does B. Lee care to have any correspondence with me. I was in contact with him up until the week of April 27 (via email). He always would say "hopefully I'll have your rack done by next weekend". The last message I received from him was that my rack was done and needed to be painted. The weather here in TN has been wet and he said that he couldnt paint it until the weather cleared, so once again, "maybe next weekend".
I gave him another weekend without bothering him. After that week had passed with no word and the weather had been permitting, I sent him an email and he never responded. Throughout this week, I have sent him multiple emails and have called him several times. He is completely dodging me. I talked to a fellow member on here that knows him and he has no idea why he is dodging me...but thats of little help at this point.
Bottom line:
DO NOT DEAL WITH B. LEE OFFROAD (AKA BRIAN LEE) OUT OF THE CHATTANOOGA AREA!!!!
Please pass the word along, I don't want to see anyone else get ripped off. If I had Facebook, I'd post directly on his wall so everyone would have an idea of what they were getting into.
