Axle ID 1972 W200 Dodge

Help, we're trying to identify the axles on a 1972 Dodge W200 4wd. It appears to be a Dana 44 but it may be a spicer 70. Any web sites that would use the vin to check?

It should have some numbers on the cast section in the center. I would guess a D44 also.I dont know if they used the 4500 lb D60s with the BIG hubs. there are several vintage dodge truck outfits that might be able to give you a positive ID on it.
