AX-15 behind the 4 popper......

Ok anyone on here know about this swap? I sawp a post on it some where but not here. I know you need a DAkota Bellhousing but what year? What is the 1st and rev. ratio in the AX-15? How would the shorter rear DS affect my xj with the 9"? Vibrations? What about the longer Front? Anyone got any insight on it?

I was looking at this when I had my yj.... it takes a bellhousing from a 4 cyl dakota, adapt the slave cyl depending on the style, and not much more IIRC.

I believe the gearing is abit higher but close.

Try poking around JU's yj boards, but they lost alot of old posts a few months ago from what ive seen.

Ok the 5 is 3.93 : 1 first and 4.74 rev so I guess they are the same on that respect.
