Hi guys. Don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but since you are in my area, thought I'd try here first.

I am looking for some electrical scematics for a 95 and 92 cherokee. I am putting a 92 ax15 and 231 into a 95 that had an aw4 and was 2wd. specifically, I'm looking for electrical info on how to get the ax15 hooked up properly. I have a Chiltons and a Haynes and am not satisfied with the diagrams they have provided, and don't have a FSM. Is there a free online place to get FSM, or can someone PM or email the electrical schematics for the 95 and 92?

Thanks

See the sticky at the top of the tech forums about free FSMs. In short, no, there isn't.

IIRC, the only electrical connection to an AX15 is for the reverse light switch. I'd have to check my FSM at home for the location of the neutral switch, I don't remember if it's in the transmission, or on the clutch pedal.

CPS? isnt that also located on there?

I don't think the 92 had a neutral or clutch switch. I could start that thing in gear and without clutch depressed. A handy little item when your clutch starts going out and you get stopped at a stop light (DAMHIK).

Trying to use the factory connectors at wiring harness(speedo&4wd)on the 95, and add what I need for 4wd engagement. The existing 95 wire for speedo is too short. The speedo sensors are different. 92 is a 2 wire, 95 is a 3 wire.

For backup lights, I believe the connector on ax15 is a 2 wire. The 95 with auto had an 8 or 9 pin connector. just have to figure out which wires to use in the 95connector and I can (hopefully)put my 92 plug on the end. Of course, if all that wire goes directly to the auto trans control unit, which is coming out, it may not do any good.

Why is it they want $90 for a FSM on CD, and 59 or something like that for one in paper. Seems to me it'd be cheaper for the CD.

Thanks for the input.
