Anyone running electric lock in the front D30?

I tired of my lunchbox lock not always locking. I saw one place selling an electric locker for a jeep D30 but you know how some places are. They will sell anything for anything. How does it would for you and dose anyone have a part number?

I have a PowerTrax and NO Im not wasting anymore time on that POS!

I saw an Auburn electric locker and I thought that would be the way to go since I shouldnt weld the front and drive it on the street.

Powertrax makes very reliable lockers. If your having a problem you should talk to them.

if you want to go electric and are looking at Auburn, your talking about the Ected. It's not a bad device, is fairly new on the market but getting good reviews. Fourwheeler Supply seems to have the best price at $540 shipped.

second Cal's recommendation. ran the Ected for the 30 at Moab FF and it worked like charm. REALLY quiet...

might just need a new set of springs, cheap and easy fix. mine work fine.

im running the electric locker in my dana 30. loving it. one of the best mods ive done to my rig and as posted before, it is really quiet

Just wondering,do you have to be moving to engage the ected or will it engage at a stand still.
