I'm bored, Ive got UT2k3, UT2k4, and UT3 any takers?

I used to play UT alot back in the day. I play Cod4 alot on PS3, dabble in WoW, but not for a long time.

Ive got COD4 on PC, along with a ton of other games. I spent the money on my PC so I could enjoy it.

I have a copy of UT2k4 around here somewhere. Been playing Team Fortress 2 mainly though.

Used to play UT2k4, but don't have it loaded on this machine... Been thinking about it, wonder if this laptop will play it...

Used to play every day, hours at a time, finally got that monkey off my back and get normal sleep now. I had it bad, even ran a dedicated server on an OC3 opened wide up once the company I worked for closed for the day, everyone from the president on down would play for 2-3 hours every other weeknite, I knew it was bad when I'd get calls from the owners to reboot the server on weekends and get it back up. Even the secretaries started playing and we had some ticked off husbands. So far I have resisted the urge to install any games.

What was the name of that version that involved real world weapons? Where they had the Steyr Aug, M4, M249, etc.

not unreal tourney, its right in the name... UNREAL :D

ive always been a CS fan myself.

actually there was the SAS mod for unreal. I liked it better than CS

I hate Steam, but I'm killing a lot of time on DoD:Source. I hadn't played any FPS online since UT was first popular. Nucular flak rabbits ftw!

Only FPS game I play anymore is BF2. I race online about every night, and race in DMP league, which is Jr's and he races there.

I also race at iRacing.com. I've raced Matt Kenseth's son, Ross, Justin LaBonte, Dale Jr, Jaques Villeneueve, Martin Truex, AJ Allmendinger...the list goes on....lol.

I'm hooked on it and have been for about 5 years. Not as bad as I used to be, but still like it alot. Gotta have a wheel and pedals though to be any good.

On UT99 there was the Tactical Ops mod, I logged many hours on that game as well as UT. Loved low grav instagib, doesn't seem like many play that on 2k4 though

Counter Strike Source, daily. Like RichP said it's a bad bad monkey, but then "BOOM HEADSHOT!" and it all feels so right.

I've played quite a bit of Red Orchestra since it was a conversion for UT2k3 and UT2k4, more recently Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, a stand alone based on the conversion now sprouting it's own mods to include the Western Front and others. Available on Steam or on the shelf.

Authentic German and Russian weapons/uniforms/vehicles, no magic crosshairs floating around or automatic reloading, no magic number showing how many rounds you have left in the magazine. Ok damage models, realistic movement - getting tired after running - taking a few steps to stop from a run, etc. Half way decent Tank simulators too.

I've spent way too much time there, I've been off of it since July :yelclap:

I think it was the SAS version, I spent much time on that on Okinawa back in late 01-02... loved getting the Steyr with its mini-scope or the FAMAS with its ridiculous rate of fire.
