I'm really interested in getting an XJ to do a little wheelin and drive daily..
I'd like a chance to do a little wrenchin on someone elses XJ for an afternoon.. you know.. be the tool bitch.. spins some wrenches and get dirty..
I made a visit to the yard yesterday to paruse the parts selection and it definately looks like if I want to do some stock wheelin there are plenty of parts for when I break stuff... 6 XJ's from 84-93 all fairly complete.
Anyhow....
I'll BUY BEER... I just want to absorb some knowledge first hand before I dive into this head first...
I'm looking into a 1988 Limited w/ towing package (no D44 rear
) AW4... all stock 169K
I'm no stranger to auto repair as I'm a watercooled VW nut on the side.. so I might actually be useful... Let me know guys.. I'm thinking of becoming a part of the family...
