anyone know a good place to get cheap ammo

Obama hasn't done anything yet, though he does want to make it harder to get. There is talk that he isn't going to reinstate the AWB, but I personally think that is because there were soo many loopholes in it, he's going to re-write it to get rid of OLL, and other stuff of the sort.

Basically what it boils down to is when Obama was elected, everyone went crazy. Worried too much about Obama taking guns / ammo away, so everyone bought while it was still available.

From a older co-worker, he told me this isn't the first time this happened. Back when Clinton was elected same thing. The Ammo manufacturers up their production to match the demand, but fortunately demand dies while production is high, so there was a surplus. Now this time it's lasted longer, but who knows how long it'll last.

Thankfully I got about 1k rounds total (between 22lr, 223, and 45 (223 being the most abundant). So I should be fine for another few months. So I am trying to "wait it out"...

I bought some .223 and .22 through cheaperthandirt last night. $24 for a brick of .22 and I think $17 for 30 rounds of .223 NATO on stripper clips. More than I have ever paid, but wanted to stock up a little. Even on the site most ammo was out of stock.

damn. id like to buy around 10,000 rounds of .22 if i can find it around 20$ a brick.
500 rounds of 7.62x39
200 rounds of 7.62 x54
maybe some more 9mm, 7mm, etc...
thats it really.

honestly the prices on that site are only a dollar cheaper per box of 7.62x39 and about the same price on .22 thats actually available not including shipping...i think ill go back to cordova guns and buy a bunch of the 10$ boxes of 39....

heh, I am trying to get some more right now... Just a few federal bricks of 22lr, and every time I've hit up a walmart when I was out of the bay, they were out of almost everything..

only thing ive seen at walmart is shotgun shells, the one in rancho has alot....
