Anyone going to the Indy 500??

Anyone going to the Indy 500 or any other days at the track? If so, let me know as I will probably be there every day there is on track activity and maybe we can meet up. I'll be taking pictures for an area newspaper at the track as well as the race at the fairgrounds and ORPI (aka IRP). Of course we could always have a "day at the track" too. I know Pole Day will be a bit hectic as I also have to shoot a prom that night, but I may be able to free up some time.

lol, I get a thousand offers a year to have people carry my extra gear, however I travel light, and they won't give additional credentials.

We have probably passed each other and didn't know it then. I have been shooting there since 02, partly for the AP and partly for the Greenfield paper. It's fun work but very long hours, mostly sitting doing nothing but freezing or cooking. I'll PM you and give you a number so we can meet up.

Anyone planning on being there we'll try and set up a place and time to meet up, I'll know my schedual on Sunday night when I get home. I'll probably pick up my credentials this Thursday afternoon.

Well at the moment I know I'll be at the track every day between now and this Sunday. Saturday is Pole Day. I have to leave as soon as qualifying ends so I can get to my next shoot that night at the state museum....a prom of all things.
If your around this Thursday or Friday I will be meeting up with a crew member from one of the teams and going for a couple of cold ones afterwards.

Well if you don't go and you watch it on TV you may see, I'll be in Sarah Fishers pit during the race taking pictures of one of her crew members and so on. Now if the rain will just hold off til 9pm I'll be happy.
