I guess I'll be the first to say Welcome. Don't know of any trails out there only been through a couple of times. As for the pics. use www.photobucket.com. JIM.

Cliffhangers is the club up there I think, they have a pretty good event from what I hear. Get down to the Black Hills when you can, we got everything you need/want.

Sorry for responding so late...

Not too many serious XJ's in Eastern ND, although there are a few sweet rigs driving around. There is a 4x4 club called Roamers in the Fargo/Moorhead area. For what its worth the City of Fargo still has ~30+ XJ's that they use in their fleet, they don't seem to be in too big of a hurry to get rid of them.

There are a few places to go wheelin around here, nothing really official though. There are some good trails in the Sheyenne River Valley, down in the National Grasslands and by Fort Ransom State Park. Western ND definetally has better terrain, not sure on public trails though. Minnesota has a lot to offer, a couple hours North-East of Fargo you'll find a plethera of old logging trails. The OHV park up in the Iron Range (Gilbert, MN) is a sweet place, I would like to make a trek this year yet if I can.

I was in Ouray in July, can't say enough about it. Drove through the Black Hills on the way back to ND, not as impressive anymore after being in Colorado. After being in Fargo for a month the Black Hills are sounding pretty good again!! :D

Im over in Ely, MN in the Superior Nat. Forest (i work here for them). Many LEGAL trails and FS roads. Some are pretty knarley and lets you flex it out in several places. Certainly not the Rockies but lots of bedrock and steep grades. Look along the Tomahawk and Denley roads for LEGAL trails and roads. FR110 is a great winter drive!
The Paul Bunyan State Forest has a few good legal spots near Bemidji and Kabekona Corners. Just need to get and explore.
Good luck! Im transferring to Ft Drum, NY in a few weeks so I get to explore the Adirondacks soon! sweeeet! lol

Have Fun in NY. Anything around Lake Vermillion? Have you been ot the OHV park in Gilbert lately?
