Anyone been in contact with selarep

I purchased some battery cables from him about a month ago and have not received them yet. He hasn't been on here very much if at all and hasnt answered my pm's.

If anyone knows him could you tell him to PM me on here please.

This happens about every 4-5 months with SELAREP. I have never met him and until now have never posted in any of the threads about his business practices and SOP. Wish I could help you, but if past performance leads to future expectations you are pretty much SOL.

I have a neighbor who works with him and when I see him I will ask if he is still alive ;). if he doesn't come through for you, talk to 5-90. I bought a set from him and they are great quality and his service KICKS ASS!! I just have a thing about keeping your word, and if you can't keep your word, let me know and I am cool with that. I just hate when people ignore you when they owe you something!

Thanks for that! I've long thought that if a person in business can ask for higher praise than that, he's taken too many "business" classes.

Your comment is greatly appreciated - and, once I finish this other nice thick hamburger (I make them at least an inch thick at home - I like food you can sink your teeth into...) I've got to get a few things done (now that logistics have caught up!)

EDIT - Small World Department. Just checked your location, thought it looked familiar. I've still got family in Monon, Monticello, and Terre Haute, and buddies in Lafayette, Lebanon, and Mechanicsburg!

ever since ive been on naxja a "selarep hasnt shipped or responded in a month or more but he has my money" thread comes up every 4-5 months( just like boatwrench said) but since this is his only impression on many jeepers he doesnt come off as a standup guy. ive learned my lesson never to buy from him from the last few of these type of threads, plus his prices are usually much much higher than other people who sell parts on here.
he could at least communicate with you whats going on.

Sorry you got wrapped up with this guy...The BOD banned him from selling stuff on the Sierra Chapter board a few months back, that is about as we can do to prevent this from happening. He hasn't been around this board to much lately. Might take it to the National BOD, seeing as how he is a Sponsor under the name of "Electric Outlaw". Maybe Bryan C. or Opie will chime in on this at the next board meeting. Otherwise I encourage people to not deal with this guy.
 
Look guys I know I'm still new here but I've followed Naxja Sierra Chapter for a long time. In all that time this "selarep" guy has been pulling this stunt fairly consistently for some time now. Don't you think it's about time for some "Official" response?

Sure, spread the word that this guy is a bum...put it in your signatures...start a bad seller thread...Post a thread in the Members forum asking for a ban...PM the National BOD members asking for his ban. Personally, I dont want to take it any further that I have... but if you want to take it to the next level, then by all means.

The Sierra Chapter BOD has done all we can, and I've been pretty vigilant about deleting any thread in the chapter's board when he tries to pawn some more air to non-suspecting members.

Why not start a Good/Bad seller sub forum of the For Sale forum?


I know the Colorado chapter made one after several similar issues with sellers and buyers. Seems most people like it.

I paid with paypal. I have filed a dispute/claim so I am just waiting on paypal to do their thing. I will make sure to post this up on my local section.
