Anybody wanna go wheeling Feb 12th?

Anybody got plans for some wheelin on the 12th? I know Marisha is going to Calico with family. Anyone else?

I am looking to get up to Big Bear and run a different trail. I have run Gold Mtn, Holcomb creek, and a couple of more in the area. I am lookinf at running Heatbreak Ridge or Clark Summit.

Anyone? Bueller?

Running something, where is the question right now. I might be talked into Calico.

Not so sure about Big Bear, winter is for deserts. I enjoy Big Bear alot more around May.

Stoddard has some rocks.

JV has my attention, got alot of checking out to do there.

Ever been to Last Chance? I can make a run there interesting...

I'll be up in the big Bear area the 12th doing a recon run of 2n04 taking pictures and gps points. I was on the back side of Gold mtn. day before yesterday, and where the road dropped back down the back side to Holcomb Valley road was an ice flow about a foot deep. It looked slicker than snot. There was about two feet of snow on the Northern faces, not much of a crust on top and very dry and powdery underneath. The stuff swollowed me right up to the rock rails when I broke through the surface.

Clark is prolly gated this time of year.

I would love to go up this weekend, but unfortunately, to many things going on, between work, school, and family.

I have no idea when I will get to hit a trail.

I will keep watch and hopefully get to post a run real soon.

Damn man. How man runs have you posted and not made? Just messin wit' cha. Maybe you should take a hint from me and not post about the run and just show up anyhow. Back to nappy land. :speepin:

Yea, I know. I have only planned 1 actual run and not made it. I have had several posts looking to wheel with someone almost every week this year. I think I am gonna sit back and just join a run out of the blue....HA HA...

I need to get my wife more involved, then the family things may not be such an issue. She wants a TJ, so I told her we will start looking.
