Thought I would see something posted on his status for the back door shoot out tonight on here, but its all crickets.

Has anyone heard from him and have anything worthwhile to pass along?

Well at least someone has seen him out there. So that rules out tow rig and trailer failures. Showing up is the first step to competing.

I think his buggy was a 4.3 liter Chevy v6, if its still the same one he used to have.

4.3 L V-6 Chevy, yes.

Currently in 5th place. Still, he's posted a very good time, and very clean run; lots of finesse vs. raw horsepower.

Lots of big horsepower rigs posting times of 70-80 seconds; fair amount of carnage.
