Anybody have Sylvania Xtravision headlights?

Noticed the Sylvania Xtravision headlights are on sale at Schucks. One of my headlights is burned out, the other cracked. :D I'm going to be rewiring the lights soon, right now I'm only getting about 11v at the lights.

Anyway...does anybody have the Xtravisions? Are they worth an extra $8 each over stock lights? Then again, would the Silverstars be worth an extra $20 over the Xtravisions?

I have them and for the money they are great. I am going to do the harness rewire too but at this point they are a HUGE improvement over stock 35w bulbs.

I've got them, and while they help I still need to do the headlight rewire. I've driven my mom's Outback and her headlights put out LIGHT...

Just put them in. HUGE difference. I went for a drive and kept thinking somebody else was coming because of the extra light, but it was just me. :D Now I can't look at the lights without hurting my eyes, before I could stare right at them no problem. I'm sure the new wiring will help too...my sockets are pretty dirty.

Glad you are happy..... so are you doing the wiring yourself or are you getting a harness kit? I don't want to cut the wires and screw something up

I'm going to make them myself, but I should be able to just plug them in without cutting anything. I just need to find a plug like what's on the back of the headlight...

I'm thinking about just unsoldering the plug from the back of my old headlights. Does anybody know where I might be able to find a plug?

I bought suvlights.com 2 of h4 female plug and 1 of h4 male plug for homemade relay/wiring harness. They are awesome service and no problem for me.

I only spent homemade wiring harnessed with relay for less 25 dollars. It really easy make one. Oh by the way, I am running Narva 90/100 watts since 8 mos and I love my setup. It really so crystal clear visibility everywhere without blind the vehicle incoming. Never had flash from incoming vehicle.

They have the sockets, but I don't see any plugs. Regardless, I wouldn't buy from them if everything was $0.99. Their service is horrible to say the least.
