Any potential problems with "Zip Tie Shift" Mod?

Here's another angle.
The purpose of the spring is to eliminate any slack in the cable. As you can see in this photo the self-adjusting mechanism is defeated.

This keeps it "infinitely" adjustable. I still gotta get going on this.
 
Ok tried it out today and you can deff feel the difference. I used a couple zipties and it did the trick, firm faster shifts. I think this should help out with gas mileage by spending less time "floating" around an rpm waiting to shift. Makes you feel faster too haha.
 
Oh and I have an answer to a potential problem....try putting it in 4LO haha. Kinda like a mechanical bull and ill never do it again. Glad i changed that motor mount.
