Its things like this that make me want to have any passanger ridding in my jeep while wheeling sign a release of liability. :jester:

That sucks about your jeep.

glad everyone is okay....but that is a funny ass picture :D

the problem with it, is that it was totalled once, with the whole frame being twisted, you can really tell from the pics but it went right back to where it was twisted up the first time, but now with the roof and pillars all bent in as well...

Could you please describe for us in detail how this happened? It would be helpful for others to learn from our trials, and maybe prevent something similar from happening to them. Glad you are ok.

Dinosaurs. Out of no where. The only way to prevent it would be to install the harpoon gun, like I kept telling him to. We were only saved because some tastier looking Wranglers showed up for them to gorge themselves on.

instead of re-living the pain, just my advice, is to treat every trail with extreme caution, I've ran every trail there that day besides tank trap without any body damage at all. then this happened on one of the easy trails on the way to hit b**ch trail again.
so yea, even if it's an easy trail, even just a flat dirt road treat it with extreme caution, you never know when those holes can jump out and bite your jeep and pull it down...

on another note, how's your jeep coming gar? sounds like you've been pretty busy, let's see some pics!

Sounds like good advice brother. So far all I have done is the cut, fold and weld the rear quarter panels. It came out real nice, looks like it came from the factory that way. I just picked up my roll cage that I had powder coated, and it looks sweet to! I have been perdy busy at work, so when I get a chance I will post some pics of what I have done. If ya want your rear qtr. panels done, let me know, I got it down pat.

ok, I've already done it, but maybe when I get my new jeep I'll make a swap-the-old-parts-to-the-new-jeep-day party thing or something.

did anything ever come of that video that was taken?

apparently he has all the video and pictures uploaded, he does video editing/making for a job so it's kinda on the back burner...
I'll be sure to let you know when he gets it done.
I can probably have him make a cd with a bunch of pics and the video and I can get it to you some time.

I just gotta get some new junk first....
everyone can feel free to donate to get-Jim-a-new-jeep
it's non-profit organization with a worthy cause....
at least I think so...
ha ha
