Any pdx'ers done the A/C to OBA?

my 35x13.5s take about 2 to 2.5 minutes per tire. Maybe your compressor is shot?

I did this mod, only I used red grease instead of using oil and a mister. I tapped the drain plug and installed a grease nipple. This is probably one of the better mods I've done.

Well i burned up my first compressor, I had the oiler with compressor oil in it and filled all 4 of my tires and my buddies tires and froze it up. Then I found out I should be using a/c compressor oil so I thought that may be the problem so I got another one but just don't wanna seize it again.

No they make an actual a/c compressor lubricant

i just use air tool oil, the same stuff you put in air impact wrenches and air ratchets. aired up about 50-60 big tires so far with no issues.

That's how my first one burned up though... Tool oil and air compressor oil are almost the same air compressor oil is a little thinner I think.

My home compressor wants full synthetic 30w or "compressor" oil.
