Any one else see these?

Found that a pair is half the price but the inserts will only cycle 5000 times. I don't think they wold work for what we want very well.

the way i see it, the price of hydraulics bumstops isnt that much, most of the pain comes from fitting them, these have all those hastles, and 2/3rds the cost. why not spend a little more, and get race proven technology?

if the price came down (it wont), they'd sell better i think.

Thats about the same as a new set of Kings.

Post a link to them cheep Kings. my next step on my project is bumps and straps. Thats how I found the daystar bumps that I thought was a great deal. It's not that I am cheep I just have to watch what I spend on my projects since the economy crashed. I have lost several jobs because of it but still want to work on my jeep. So I just have to save longer and spend less these days.

My bad, I didnt realize that was for a pair.
What wears out in 5000 cycles? Warebands? Seals?

The Radflo 2.0 bumps can be gotten for about $150 as well.

Where's this 5000-cycle figure coming from?

Last line I copied from the link

Product Features
Measures 8.25 inch extended, 5.5 inch collapsed and is fully adjustable and rebuildable
Suitable for high-performance recreational applications, not intended for racing
Universal fit, can be adapted to almost any application using traditional 2" bump can holders
Includes EVS progressive rate foam inserts in firm (black) and medium (blue)
(-=-=inserts are good for 5,000 cycles=-=-)

I gave those things a thought. Like $250 with shipping. You would still have to go with something like the T&J mounting brackets. I went with radflo 3in instead. Teraflex speed bumps use the foam too but they are $850 for the jk seems like a lot to me.

If you're considering those, consider the Timbren AEON hollow rubber bump stops too. I ran their Cherokee front kit in my XJ for 2 years with good results. I modified the kit and left out their metal "spacer" part (some tube with a flat washer end) and had to reseat one once after some bouncy off-roading, but I really liked the product. The site shows them for $194 for the front. Product info can be found here.

My old setup- you want about 1/2" space between the bumpstop and the Timbren:
