Any Beretta fans in the house?

You know you're a car nut from Canada when you think of this Beretta

before the gun
:laugh2: No doubt. I think most of the guns on this page are illegal here...

Curious, if you call a cop for an intruder and dominos for a pizza who gets there first ???

Cop. But what intruder has a gun up here? Pretty freakin' rare unless you live in Toronto or Vancouver. You'll have to come visit here to see how friendly and peaceful we really are...

Why would he need one, you all leave your doors unlocked. He could probably clean out half of your house before you even knew he was there.

Besides, the point is not to match the weapon you are up against, but to have superior firepower. If the bad man has a knife, I want a gun.

"Sure, I believe in peace. Peace through superior firepower."

I don't recall who said it, but it works for me!

I've heard both good and bad things about the 92fs.I my self have a Walther P99 Military 9mm (pre S&W) and absolutely love it.It fires flawlessly and is one of the most comfortable handguns I've ever held.

Next up will be a Kimber Tactical Custom II in .45

That kimber is badass but I would buy the ultra tactical II instead of that big ass thing...

oh yeah much nicer...

As far as the berretas go one of my favorites is the bdl 380 stainless steel with walnut grips. They quit making them a few years ago but you can still find new ones and if you look hard enough you might even be able to find one of the old belgium made ones.

I had a buddy (he's passed now) who used to say, "An armed society is a polite society."
I have his old Browning 9 mm. Great gun, but kind of skinny in my hand.

Heinlein used to say that as well - or was your buddy's first name "Robert?"

I'm sure the quote is much older, but I first heard it from Heinlein, and it made perfect sense to me...

I'd go with the XD9 if getting a 9mm.
x2 XD's seem to be a really nice overall package. Comfortable grips and pretty reliable. I have two XD's (.45 and .40) and I'm eyeing a third one ;)
Anyways, they come in three barrell lengths for 9mm and .40: SC (3") Service (4") and Tactical (5"). If you're looking for an all around gun, I would recommend the Service model as it gives you a little bit of everything: It's not as big and bulky as the Tactical and it's easier to aim then the SC. Currently I have the SC in .40 and Tactical in .45 so I gues my next purchase will be Service in 9mm ;)

I don't know where Frank got it, but he used to say it whenever the topic of gun control came up!
