Hey now that's racist! Or reverse racist! Or something! They can make a white monkey boy but not a black one? The very fact that they had to stop making the Obama one is racist! Why is it not a OK for black people to be monkeys?! I'm black, someone call me a monkey, damnit!

:D:D

I'm starting to get flashbacks from that one scene in Clerks II

"No no, its ok, I'm takin' it back!"

Regarding Obama's recent visit to this part of the world:

"Everything seemed planned for the future campaign commercials — at least, that’s how it seemed to a U.S. Air Force captain when Sen. Barack Obama and his entourage swooped into Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan for an hour-long visit last Saturday at the start of a week-long foreign tour.

“He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle” without pausing to acknowledge the U.S. troops who had been waiting all day just for the opportunity to meet him, the officer told the Blackfive pro-military blog.

As the soldiers lined up to shake his hand, the Illinois senator “blew them off and didn’t say a word,” ducking into the conference room to meet the general.

Then the armored vehicles took him to where “he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to soldiers to thank them for their service,” the captain wrote.

“As you know, I am not a very political person. I just wanted to share with you what happened” during Obama’s visit, the captain related.

“I swear, we got more thanks from the NBA basketball players or the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders than from Senator Obama,” he added "

I have quite a few friends who are stationed at the places he visited. They confirmed this is exactly what it was like....

Dude, this is not unusual at all! My unit was one of the ones escorting McCain around on his visit in that "safe" market place. Not a word. We've had SECDEF, 6 senators of various parties, Gen. Patraus, Tom Brokaw, and a few others I've forgotten come to our JSS. It's in, meet with the Iraqi Army and then out. No small talk or chit chat, just in and out on Blackhawks. Remember that Iraq is still a war zone and the death of any VIP by insurgents would be a propoganda windfall, even if it was by accident. So moving quickly out of an open airfield, though overly cautious makes a lot of sense. I remember standing out in the open at BIAP with no cover close by feeling totally exposed to IDF. It's a real threat that should be mitigated for VIP's like Obama.

Oh! How could I forget Lara Logan from CBS! She is smoking in person, especially after 10 months of only seeing dudes in real life.

Anyway, propoganda like that crap does not get us any closer to a real election based on reason, truth, and unemotional logic like the founders intended. It's just more of the same 'appeal to fear and emotion' Bush style campaigning. Jefferson said "When fear is present, reason is not."

Obama is the medias choice for president, that should be obvious by now.

But when Chynethia Gragg spotted the sticker — depicting someone urinating on the name "Obama"...

Was it Calvin? He's such a troublemaker.
