I searched and found tons of information on track bars, but nothing to specifically cover my question.
I have a 2" lift and the axle sits about 1/4" off center. I know, it's not much, been that way for a year. But I want to get it back perfectly square under the chassis. Can I drill a new hole offset from the stock one, or is it too close without welding up the original hole and then drilling?
If it can be redrilled without welding, does anyone know exactly where to drill (measurements), in relation to the stock hole? Or would it just be better to buy an adjustable bar? But, is the base length on an adjustable bar equal to the stock length, in which case I would have no use for it?
Thanks in advance?
