Yodels.

I just moved here from Colorado. Literally. Arrived this past Monday to the Everett area.

I've been wanting to move here for the past 15 or so years, and now I'm here.

I am looking for a stealership so I can fix the ignition switch on my 85 XJ. Where are they? Can't find them in the phone book.

Thanks and I'll sure to have more questions as the time passes. Like, where are the cool trails etc.

Thanks everyone.

There is a Jeep dealership on Highway 99 just south of Everett Mall Way, that is your best bet. I believe it is Dwayne Lane's new location for Jeeps (they used to sell some on Evergreen way IIRC). Either way, welcome to the area. I live in Everett as well and DD a White lifted XJ with Thors, and a winch bumper...wave if you ever see me, there's good trails about an hour in any direction (North, East, South) and a few local *cough* locations.

PM me if you ever need a hand with your rig, always willing to help.

Welcome, if you need work done on your XJ check out Auburn Car Repair and Offroad. They are nice enough to support us ever year for our big club event, and the owner and a employees are on here. If your just looking for parts from the dealers then good luck.

Nice to meet you! Good to hear there is another XJ in the everett area. If you want to go used try pull-a-parts in either smokey point or lynwood. They always have at least 1/2 a dozen cherokees each to pull from.

Welcome to the NW.

Recomend you take the Jeep to Auburn.

It's not in your area, but it's not in mine either.

Dealers:
Everett: Dwayne Lane's Chrysler , Jeep10515 Evergreen Way
Kirkland: Rairdon's Chrysler, Jeep 1282 NE 124th ST
Seattle: Town & Country Chrysler, Jeep 13733 Aurora Ave
Monroe: Raisron's Chrysler, Jeep 16413 W. Main St.

So, why are you looking for a dealer? Your rig is too old for the dealer techs to be "up" on it. And the recent economic situation plus Chrysler's move to consolidate dealers means the tech is more likely to be a Dodge truck guy than a Jeep guy. And that is my devalued 2 cents worth.

Welcome to WA. What part of Colorado are you from? Please post up some pics of your rig in the Local Rig Directory so we can keep an eye out. Also check out the NWFest thread and think about reserving that weekend for some Jeepin' !

Yes, welcome. Try searching the tech forums for a fix on your ignition switch, unless you really like throwing money at dealerships. If it's beyond your ability to fix yourself, it's worth the drive to give Auburn Car Repair and Offroad your business.

Keep your eyes in this forum for upcoming runs, usually at least once a month the north-enders put something together.

I'm just a little south of you, but work in Everett. Look for the big black XJ with naked lady mudflaps. :)
