All Things Guns

I actually used the sand paper to get it as smooth as possible then used rubbing and finishing compounds on my buffing wheel. I really got great results where the metal had all the sanding marks knocked down. There's just small areas that are still standing.

any one use one of these versacary IWB holsters?

facebook suggested i like their page so i looked around the website a little bit.

I've looked at those holsters before as well but don't know how much I would like inside the waist band. I got my blackhawk holster that I put my xdm 9mm in. So far I like it.

i guess it would be a little cold on those going commando days. :D

Picked me up a 20 gauge single shot today. It's in great shape. Good gun to get my little cousins into shooting with and I can still hunt a deer with it.

So on my annual Xmas trip home, I have to buy a gun. So much easier when I'm in my home state than when I'm in NC.

I've decided on a Uberti Cattlemen to go with the cowboy lever gun I'm building. Big question is .357 or .45 LC?

I had heard you can reload 45lc hotter than 44mag

Where are you guys getting your 7.62x54r ?? The LGS still believes everything he has is made of gold and my last experience with Gander Mountain leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

Rewster, I have IWB holsters for both my Sigma and my LCP. I haven't looked into Versacarry, but my Sigma resides in a Don Hume piece of leather and the LCP in a nylon cheapy.

Both of them leave the top of the slide and grip in contact with skin if I'm not wearing an undershirt tucked in. This isn't a problem for me but the LCP's slide isn't stainless, so I have to keep up on keeping any body sweat off to keep the rust down.

I personally don't have problems with the pistol-skin contact, but YMMV. Food for thought.

Well I guess I was good this year. Recieved a few different gun related items but finally got me a decent stock for my 700. Went with a bell and carlson m40 medalist. Feels much nicer than the hogue stock.
