Can't remember where I ordered this particular faceplate from, but I rather like it - the CD storage slot underneath the head unit pushes the radio up an extra half-inch or so, which for some reason seems to make the controls much easier for me to get at compared to the 'regular' faceplates.

I seem to recall that someone on here had originally dug it up. Some searching would probably find it if you're interested.

It is a Metra Kit but what I found is that it is one for a 99-04 Grand Cherokee. Part number 99-6505. The model listed for a standard 97-01 Cherokee is 99-6501 which does not have the pocket below.

Weird, because I remember the XJ being specifically listed on the compatibility chart included with the faceplate. Someone probably figured that all 'Cherokees' are the same again.
