i have a 93 xj and just bought a 2001 intake, fuel rail, and injectors. is it possible to adapt all of these items together? and how? it looks as if the fuel injectors have different plugs. also, the vacuum lines are different. the power steering bracket is different too. thanks for the help.

Anything is possible. In this case, however, it is a PITA.

Just swap in earlier injectors & fuel rail from your 93 onto the 2001 intake & that's covered. Those 2001 injectors are Seimen's injectors (pencil) & not Bosch. I saw an adapter harness set somewhere on a Ford site ??? to adapt one to run on the other's harness plugs but don't buy that crap when ya can just swap over the injectors & call it a day!
(Remember the NEW o-rings!)

Hit Marcus' site (go-jeep) for the power steering bracket info. He's got that covered.

I did this conversion on my 96 XJ. I also read Go-Jeeps webpage about installing a newer style intake onto an older model 4.0l. He has a great site, and I have used it for inspration on several modifications to my own Jeep. I did notice something different about his PS pump bracket. The pictures of his power steering pump mount/fan drive assy are different than what I have seen in the US market XJs.

On my Jeep the fan is mounted on the passenger side with the A/C compressor and alternator. I almost looks like they run 2 mechanical fans instead of the mechanical and electric setup on the US version.

96 to 01 XJ 4.0ls have a different power steering mount and belt tensioner than previous years. To run the updated manifold, you need to use the newer style pump mount bracket/tensioner and belt. The problem when upgrading is the P/S pump is different too. The bolts go through the pump mount ears and into the manifold instead of threading directly to the pump. Most people just use the updated style pump, but you might be able modify your existing pump to work with the new bracket. Sorry I don't have a pic of the new set-up.

Use your throttle body, sensors, fittings, fuel rail and injectors to make the swap easier. Just extend any vacuum lines, and you will also need to extend the IAT sensor wire too.
