ABS D35 to Chrysler 8.25

I know that this has been talked about but it seems like it is always for 1992+. I have a 1990 XJ with abs. I am curious to know if I can put a Chrysler 8.25 read axle from say a 1996 with abs in easy breezy as far as the abs is concerned, or am I going to have to replace some things.

2 topics I am looking for answers on is as mentioned can I hook up my old still abs to a new style abs axle and have it work.

The next topic is does anyone have a write up for removing the abs from these older style jeeps as what I’ve gathered is more than just unplugging some relays.

Same here, in fact, thats usually one of the first questions in xj axle identification: does it have abs? If yes=d35
