Abortion

I don't have any kids, and my life is a lot easier because of it. I do what I want when I want and have more than enough money to buy everything I want. So if my girl accidentally got pregnant at our age and this time in our lives the choice for us both would be a no brainer.

Everyone has different ideas of what happiness is and ours is not little kids running around when we ourselves are still living our own lives.
My post was in response to the statement that a lot of people can't make it on just one income anymore. Finances shouldn't automatically be a deciding factor.

The choice for us was easy too. We had our first kid at 21, I had planned on waiting until 25. Oh well, plans change. We did get her tubes tied after the last one since they were in there for c-section anyways and we don't want a whole flock...;)

I gotta take Coastie's side on this...
My girlfriend is allergic to latex... no joke. She's on the pill, and that's been working fine, but if there were to be an accident then we'd probably abort it. With her about to start school again (vet tech, gonna be REALLY busy with that) and me having 4 years of deployments left as a door-kicker and 2 years before I'd be able to re-up into a safer, more family friendly MOS, it's just not a good time for us to bring a kid into the picture.
Now in a few years, when she's done with her degree and I have the option to do something a little safer if we have a surprise like that, then we'd probably end up keeping it if it were to happen.

It's late, it's late, it's late, but not too late for an abortion.

OK, all humor aside, I believe abortion is wrong.
The choice is not whether to abort or not, it is whether to keep it in your pants or not. Or keep your legs crossed or not.

That being said, it is also a necessary evil. Back alley abortions, which women will seek out if abortion is outlawed, will possibly kill alot of ALREADY BORN people.
I will cautiously add that, abortion is kinda like two wrongs DO make a right.
Ya screwed up and got pregnant, you better screw up again, and avoid another dumpster baby.
