Yeah, who was that guy that hit my truck, anyway? I'll be in my Bronco this time, finally got it back on the road again :D It sure is a blast to drive! It'll go anywhere except..........past gas stations :(

That was the guy in the Wrangler who wasn't even with us, right? I forget who Kirk (saki669) ran into sliding backwards down the hill.

Aack. Looks like I may be out. I've got Search and Rescue training that day. It's usually the first Sunday of the month. But they changed it to Saturday.

I definitely want to get up there soon though. I may plan a smaller run in a couple of weeks.

Have them arrange some snow training or vehicle recovery.
 
will be there, any extra parts i may need? im running a stock xj with 5" lift and semi warn 33's. 1st ever run, my cherry popper. ohh i dont have recovery points.
 
I'm in.
Just hope to make it there on time. Went up there last week to go snowboarding, driving up the 330 and a lot of cars. The main road was closed. But will keep my eye's to see if is open. And leave earlier if needed.

The good thing about Santa Clarita is it's just as fast or faster to head up the 14 and then take the 138 to the 18 through Victorville and then up the back side. Way less traffic and a quicker ascent of the mountain.
 
Just a heads up, they are going to have a few small BBQ's and camping stoves and have a pot luck.

So if you can bring anything let us know so we can forward it to the run organizer...


Karistic, I think Kelly has me on her list already.
