The good thing about Santa Clarita is it's just as fast or faster to head up the 14 and then take the 138 to the 18 through Victorville and then up the back side. Way less traffic and a quicker ascent of the mountain.

That's the plan! I drove past that route on the way to KOH last year... looks like a pretty cool road. I'm just hoping it's not packed because the 330 is closed.

Does anyone knows what time we will be finished the trail and where we will be at? I have a last minute call to take some relative to the airport so I have to be home by 5:30 at the latest.

Radiator is in! Valve cover bolts tightened. Packin, filling the oil and checking the gas soon. See you all at 8:30. Do i need to pickup some kind of day-use pass or anything?
