A Wrinkle in Time Part 2

OK....week two has arrived. Enjoy!

Don't know where this stuck shot is..If you look close you can see the Ramsy PTO driven winch with the cable out. BTW that winch is still here and might be for sale one day.

This is at Francis Peak right above my house...Don't know the year.

Uintah Mountains...My dad tells me about 1968

Deer hunt. Again around '68

Not sure the year here but it goes along with a funny story. This is on the lake shore of the Great Salt Lake. My dad had to keep burying his spare tire with the winch cable hooked to it in order to get out.
3466%3A46%3B9%7Ffp47%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E2323797985%3B85ot1lsi

Another deer hunt shot....Nice buck!
3466%3A46%3B9%7Ffp64%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E23237979879%3C5ot1lsi

Can't find deer like that here anymore.

I believe this is one of the Green River lakes in Wyoming but I'm not sure.

Same lake.

Cool Thread!

My friend sold his Willys Wagon about two years ago. That thing was sweet - with a "tornado-6" engine and a PTO winch.

Not a seatbelt in sight either :D

Sorry its a day late. Been stuck in Moab working for the last two days. I thought my hotel had wireless but it didn't.

Anyway....week three.
Funny straight rocker panels....

Anyone who has been to Canyonlands knows where this is. It is at Church rock right at the turn off of Us-191.

Well that is it for week three. Week four and five will get into some scanned black and white photos...Some cool stuff.

Enjoy!

This thread is King.
Hell, I'd be happy with just pictures from the '90s, but you really are treating us to a treasure trove of the way it was......

Sorry it is late guys...Been away for the last four days. Thought the hotel I was in had high speed internet but in fact had none at all.

Anyways...here ya go.
Sorry about the blurry shot. This is the Silver Stairs on the Elephant Hill trail.
34684%3B934%7Ffp64%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E23237979869%3A6ot1lsi

Another Silver stairs blurry shot.

No need to explain this one.
34684%3B934%7Ffp3%3B%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E232379798865%3Aot1lsi

I am not sure but I believe this is on the Lockheart basin road.
34684%3B934%7Ffp46%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E2323797987395ot1lsi

Not a wheeling shot but a cool one anyway.
34684%3B934%7Ffp64%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E2323797986%3B%3A2ot1lsi

Amazing they made it through snow that deep with those old bald tires.
34684%3B934%7Ffp4%3Enu%3D3243%3E%3B99%3E233%3EWSNRCG%3D323288889656%3Cnu0mrj

I think everyone smoked in those days. Even in Utah.
34684%3B934%7Ffp64%3Dot%3E2334%3D%3C8%3A%3D324%3DXROQDF%3E2323797987%3B75ot1lsi

Chains on all four tires. One way to get through the deep stuff.
