98XJ: Project Salsa

yea i hate relying on other people to take good pictures of my jeep while i'm wheeling

well then i guess i'll have to come to NAC fest this year.

must...install...lift...now...

UPDATE!

lots has gone on, ive been pretty much DDing this thing, drives mint. gotten it airborne a few times, took it on the beach through some nice up and downs at 50-55 and she absolutely floats. doing 70 on the highway, i can pull off into the median and it doesnt even feel like i left the pavement. the suspension was totally worth it. heres some pics of the cage still in progress:

thoughts?

you need to buy a license for that CAD app from Rob, stop using the pirated version

harness bar looks high

Yeah really. Like the highest one I've ever seen.

I'd wager that's not enough room for big suspension seats either...judging by where my B-pillar was, and I was too far forward by more than a few inches to come close to makin it happen. Even if it fits side-to-side, you'll be sitting a bunch more forward for the same seatback position if that makes any sense.

Fixed for you.

yea i meant to type that, idk why i said above

took a lot of time before burning it in, bc it looked high. but i followed this:

i sat in it, my friend measured, and the bar is at the correct height. as far as seats go, i'll just have to figure that out when the time comes.

WORKSAFE PORN! What could be better? Looks great and glad to hear it was worth the expense to go 9100's.
