how did the header panel hold up on the ride home from rausch
Updates?
I've done a few small things. Got a new job and moved into a new apt so jeep progress took a backseat. Gonna be getting back into it soon.
Ever get your speakers hooked up properly? Or are you still using that wire i gave you?
Pretty badass rig..any wheeling pics/vids?
Also..how much lift does this have compared to stock?
here's a super lame video I took of him smashing his header panel off. you cant see much. but its something.

my only issue was that the PSC pump was fully threaded in the center hole, so i only used two bolts to mount it. i couldnt get the factory long ass bolt to thread into the pump correctly so i left it out so i wouldnt break it. the ram was on backorder so that will get mounted when i get it. steering feels GREAT its so nice to not have to turn the wheel 10 degrees before anything happens. it feels heavy without the ram but doesnt feel like its struggling at all. cant wait to get the ram on there.
i want. link to the kit you got?
You cant use a full bolt on the center hole. The pump internals are larger and doesnt have the clearance. Instead the say to just use a short bolt to go thru the bracket and attach to the front of the pump only. Funny, mine doesnt feel heavy or anything without the ram. I wheeled the second day of Rocktoberfest without it and it did fine, even bent a WJ pitman arm without hurting anything else or even noticing.
Any particular reason you went with the pump mounted resi and not the remote, larger version?
