Just wanted to round this thread out and say that I actually ended up sending my computer off to SIA Electronics for repair rather than buying a new one from Flagship 1. The cost to get it repaired with shipping was about $150 which is about half the cost of a new one. It did take a couple of weeks, but the repaired unit came back and worked great. They have a lifetime guarantee on their work. Totally worth it IMHO.
