98 jeep impounded?

yep i got impounded this weekend... i was at a friends place in santa barbara partying. couldent find parking so ya know you have to make one.. so i made my own spot went inside.. a few hours later i come out to get my smokes out of my jeep and i noticed that something in that picture wasnt right.....hmm what could it be..... oh shit my jeep is gone. some ferternity house didnt like my jeep parked in their flowers so she got it towed.. cost me $280 to get it out..... cant wait to find her car next weekend......:smsoap:

i dont see what was a big deal with my parking... it was on a hill in the parking lot over the curb..... but i think that if i defend your freedoms to even be able to go jeeping i should atleast be able to park on a hill in the parking lot.....

Defending Freedoms does NOT give you the RIGHT to ignore rules and regulations. If one of my charges had this attitude there would be some definite EMI in his future.

Illegal parking is not "sh!tty luck", it is just ignorance, I hope you learned something for your $280.

Did you know that right now on the rubicon trail, if you park more then 25 feet off the center of the trail you WILL get a $175 ticket. You will get this ticket if you know the law or not, you will get a ticket if you know where the trail is or not. It is up to you to know where the trail is and what you need to do on the trail, ignorance is no excuse. Driving a car is not a right, it is up to you to know the laws and keep up to date with any changes in the laws.

My guess is you are not ignorant, that you knew better then to park there, but you thought you could get away with it.

wow. this statement makes me so mad. since you're "defending" our rights then you should ba way above doing something this stupid, it hurts me when military guys use this kinda excuse and I'm only considering joining at this point.
