6.5" Lift 35's Stock Gears?

Hmmm...IVe been running 35's with stock gears for over a year now. Havent had a problem with overheating or anything, just very sluggish. When I get back from deployment next year, i will re-gear. 4.88. Just diffs has 4.88 for the 8.25 now.

you will be fine, but you will get sick of the slow lane. i have had 35s and 3.55s for like 4 now and never had a problem, don't get me wrong i have another pair of axles that i want to install 4.88s in or if i can get a d44 cheep i'll go to 5.13

The magazine suggests 4.10 with 35,s and 4.0

the magazine is full of crap then... 4.10s are going to be marginal even on 32s when you consider rolling resistance and tire mass, nevermind 35s. Only reason I'm still working on putting 4.10s in with 33s is because I already have the parts.

4.10's and 33's on a AX15 is ideal.
4.10's on 35's and a AW4 that's a laugh.....

I'm running 4.10's on 31's with an ax15 in my YJ and I want more....gear that is. Off road you'll hate 4.10's on 33's with a stick. Be prepared for a very very tired left leg
