I know if there is a meet n greet this month I will not be going. Life has suddenly gotten very busy for me. I haven't talked with Glenn in a while but I believe life is even busier for him right now. I know recently he has had a lot on his plate with his job and iirc his wife is going to be having another child not too long from now. Shrek has been the orchestrator for that past few years. If the SE Chapter is wanting a meet n greet I may recommend someone else start the planning process. This would take quite a load off of glenn. I would be happy to but this month is just way too busy for me. When everything slows down hopefully I can be more involved in

ok, well i'm not good at planning stuff, but i say we set the date for the 28th(any date works for me, as long as i know a week in advance), since nobody has spoken up yet.
this way, it is at the end of the month, everyone has a few weeks to plan, and i get paid the day before, so i can prolly afford to go wheelin.
this should be a potluck type of deal if food is to be involved, that way no one person is stuck doing more than they can handle.
in the past, we have met at Barfield Crescent Park in Murfreesboro, tn, as it is centrally located and a nice place to meet. plenty of good things to do with a frisbee here, as well as being within 45 minutes or so of several decent middle TN wheeling spots.
if we can agree on this, i can try to find out what it takes to reserve a pavillion there as we have done in the past.
let me know what i can do, and as long as it doesn't involve money, i can handle it. i have a little free time, but not much money as usual....

Hey guys,
Sorry I've been off of here for a little while. Given the lack of interest up until the last few days I had just written it off that the SEC had grown tired of it or lost interest. So I moved focus to getting ready for Hailey's arrival (due date in 13 days or less!!!!), working on my jeep, closing up the account here at the airport and job hunting. I would be very happy to help get this going again this year for say later this month or start of next month. Perhaps that will give us all plenty of time to plan and have a great event like we have had the past 3 years.
For us to reserve the location it's $60 and we have to give a pavillion number, date, expected number of people. I forget the number of the pavillion we used in 2010, but it sure worked out the best for our size group. Lots of parking, large space under the pavillion, grills, and right next to the bathroom.
Thanks guys for offering to help out in the planning and understanding I've been thrown a bit of a curve ball lately. Doing it next month wouldn't be a big deal since the only reason I orignally planned it in April is so we could have an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos.
I'll kick planning off with roll call:

Fiona and I were just talking about it and I came up with the idea of instead of our usual easter egg hunt how about we let the kids bring water guns, while the adults bring water ballons instead of eggs.
