Just moved on down to Florida. I did a yellow pages search for a place that sells and installs off road accessories, and no help. I am located in the Tallahassee area. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank You.

Hey, I just left Tallahassee. I lived there for three years while at grad school at FSU. Anyways, there's slim pickins there in Tally. Basically two places. I've only dealt with one and they were fair, trustworthy and did a pretty good job. Its called Vause's 4x4 or something like Advanced Automotive (not to be confused with the big chain). They may have changed their name, so it may not be listed as Vause's 4x4. Anyways, they have 30 plus years of experience with building off-road capable vehicles, unfortunately its mostly "redneck" trucks for bogging. They did, however, work on my XJ and everything was done right. They even have a free 1000 mile checkup to retighten all the bolts and look for any damage.

They are located on SW capitol circle I believe. If you get on Hwy 20/Pensacola Rd and head West, (away from FSU), turn left when you get to Capitol Circle. Head south down CapiCirc maybe a quarter of a mile and look on your right. You should see a sign that says Advanced Automotive and a gravel road. Turn in and you'll see a huge warehouse-like garage. That's them.

Oh and the other place is called Just Jeeps. They don't seem to do much aftermarket installs, but they might be able to some service of jeep-only problems.

anyways good luck!

Bert, Thanks a bunch. I will check out that place you mentioned. I noticed that there isnt much to do there also. besides FSU and A&M. Any good bars worthwile going to? Thanks =)

Nope, not too much to do in Tally-ho. I hated it for the most part. I was in grad school, so I wasn't much into the college party scene, which is great every now and then. i was, however, an avid scuba diver, so the crystal clear rivers, springs, and underwater caves were great. There is a lot to explore in nw florida. if you hunt, duck season is fun. St.George Island has some of the best, unknown beaches in the country. they are so clean compared to nearby PC. anyways, some cool bars are waterworks, the irish pub, snookers for pool, and any of the college bars for hot college ass, which might i add, is simply the best i've seen on any campus. enjoy.
