At 4" the stock arms are not perfect length, if you dont believe me take a look at this, as you can see the angles are all screwed up caused by a stock UCA.
W/E I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one. Point being is with 4" of lift new LCA's are highly recommended and adj UCA's are nice to have drop bracket or not. Especially if you are planning on going up higher in the future.
Kyle, we all know that stock arms are too short without any help. Once you drop their positions, the length returns the axle back neearly to the stock location. To illustrate this, try using a compass to draw a circle. draw a vertical line on the edge of the circle. Notice how the circle's line is in relation to the line. raising the Jeep is like moving the circle's radius downward, which means the line MUST come closer in horizontal measure to the pivot point (center of the circle) to keep the end of the radius on the line.
Now, I know that isn't going to make sense, so here...
I understand what the theory behind this is (lower mounting points extend length) but from my expierences once you get into 4+ inches the aftermarket LCA's are necessairy, I guess I could be wrong.

Its not a matter of necessity, its a matter of length. WithOUT drop brackets they are certainly not long enough but with them the new position that they have makes them perfect, and there is no need to buy aftermarket arms. Another plus is stock arms are cheap to repair and replace.
